Dear Mr. Hadnett
Today I have decided to go to United Kingdom! The reason why I choose to visit United Kingdom. I would like to visit this country so I can see every city and to see how cool it's like to be in the UK. I've decided to visit the capital city which is London and I'll be travelling by plane and did you know that one of their national sports are cricket although to many people football (soccer) is seen as our national sport. Football is our most popular sport. Their language are just English.

Task #1

In week 10 the year 6’s and I from Rm 3 have been in Rm 1 with Miss Paton
and we have been doing Daffodil art..

What did I accomplish? I have been using crayons and pastels and used a paper and
went outside and draw all over the paper to make it nice. We have to make 4 of your colouring paper like a vase, your daffodil and your trumpet and lucky last the stem.

Am I satisfied with my Daffodil art? Yes because it takes you a lot
of dying and using crayons.

What did you find easy when I created my Daffodil art? I found easy
was the colouring with the crayon and pastels.

What do I need to work on? I needed to work on my dying bit and and cutting my
Daffodil and doing my border

My PouPou

Poupou Art Reflection

  1. What did you accomplish?I have been working on the patterns and I was trying to make the body big enough for my colouring.

    2. Are you satisfied with your poupou artwork?
Why / Why not?  Yes, because
I had been trying to draw it as big
as possible to fit on the A3 paper.

3. What did you find easy when you
created your Poupou artwork?
Colouring, smudging and drawing
the head.

4. What did you find challenging when you
created your Poupou artwork?
Tracing it the opposite
way so the back
could match against the front.

5. What do you need to work on? Enlarging my
Poupou from the draft
I drew in my
book to ensuring it fitted
onto the A3 paper.

6. What would you change, modify / adjust with your Poupou artwork?
I would change
my poupou and add
some light colours to it.

 7. What would you do next time to
improve your Poupou artwork? Designing it to
include more Maori patterns.

Collecting data for favourite spreads

With Mr Tyrell during maths he has told the class and I how to collect data from students in the class.

Statements
  • Nutella is the most popular spread because 7 out of 14 students like it. This spread is maybe be popular because it tastes like chocolate why, it’s made of hazelnuts  and chocolate flavours.

  • 2 out of 14 students don’t really like Jam and honey. Because the Jam and Honey are the least popular spread. Maybe be they are more sticker then the other spreads
