"The sea is a hungry dog"

The beach at Rolling Waves - Picture of Rolling Waves Cottages, Longboat Key - Tripadvisor                                                                                                                  "When it becomes dawn

The gigantic sea begins to yawn

Waves rolling roughly on the sand

He begin to stretch out and reach the land"

The poem is based on James Reeves

In my classroom, we have been learning Similes and Metaphors and
one of our tasks was to write our Stanza with a buddy on "The sea is a hungry dog".
The author of the poem compared two unlike things, a hungry dog and the sea.
